OK so I have it. Paid $25 to get it, along with a 1 year subscription to Q.O.R.E. which I will never use. Of course all this info is available on the MAG forum but there's a lot to read on there.

After a 2 hour download I came home & went into the menu. Hallelujah! It's a menu that is easy to use with no delays between screens. Many areas are "grayed out" during the beta but here's what I saw so far:

-CHARACTER: Choose Raven, SVER, or Valor. I looked at all three they all have different stuff that's cool.
-LOADOUT: Load up to 5 profiles based on XP available. I haven't unlocked scopes yet but you can carry a primary, secondary, 3 types of armor, plus as many as 4 other pieces of equipment. Frags, Smoke, Medic shots, & Launchers. Probably more after beta.
-COMMUNITY: Your PS3 friends list is listed in menu and you can join directly to any of your friends' games with 1 click. Then there's a page to communicate with fellow faction members like SVER.
-CLAN: At XP level 4 you can create 1.
-MODES: Domination, Suppression, War, and a few others. Only Domination in Beta.
-CONTROLS: Didn't go into full customization but they were simple & was rolling in a few minutes. More on that below.

Then it's time to DEPLOY. You join a queue but I could not connect to a game after like 7 tries. I went on the MAG forum & found that logging on under a secondary PS3 name helps, and it did! I got right into the next game.

GAMEPLAY: Well the beta only runs from 8-12pm EST so at this point I only had 45 minutes. I will expand later this week but I can tell you that:

- IT'S REALLY FUCKING COOL.
- You can sprint for good distances
- You can jump over stuff that's waist high
- It's really easy to switch between all your gear. L1 cycles equipment, R1 cycles primary/pistol, no retarded setting screen. Just quick & easy cycling.
- The battlefield is awesome. In Domination we RAVEN had to conquer points A-G, with Valor defending. At first I had no clue but in 10 minutes I figured out what was going down.
- You can choose where you spawn but it's usually a point at the rear of your team's progress, then you run back into the center of the battle.
- There's a lot of cool places you could go & command the battle from afar if you were say, a general.
- The defending team has a serious advantage they are placed inside buildings with good cover & lots of turret guns & heavy vehicles.
- When you're in the middle of battle it is NUTS. I got killed over & over again by turret fire until I started following my team around.
- After I started following my team I was able to advance with their help, help capture points, and get some kills.
- Carry a medic gun you get good points for healing & there are wounded guys all over.
- You can choose to bleed out or wait for a medic.
- Dudes get parachuted into battle it's sweet.
- It's fast paced but not COD fast paced.
- I did not experience any lag in the game.
- It's easy to follow the shadow war objectives & fun.
- Our battle lasted like 25 minutes it was on a timer, and then the round ended. We did not capture all 8 points so they won.
- I'm not sure if the mics are working during beta. It's open mic but only within your squad of 8. No one was answering me even though I saw my mic icon lighting up.

I am sure there's a lot more. I will play it the next few days & post again. I'll also record some gameplay for you guys. Fire away if you've got questions!
